The New standards by which coaching can be qualified, evaluated and measured

In 2004 six great speakers delivered the strongest coaching message ever in Europe: Gian Luca Tonelli, Marco Paret, Peter Sage, Matt Traverso, Paul Elliott, and Kevin Martyn.

The speakers of the NLP-3 International Coaching Conference

We’ve achieved many outcomes, and one of the most important may very well be setting new standards by which coaching can be qualified, evaluated and measured. So this protocol that we’ve created — this set of codes and standards — will now serve as recognised benchmarks of excellent coaching practice that one can use to tell whether one’s coach is doing his job to the standard required to ensure one’s success. And by working with these standards we can improve coaches’ effectiveness and hence the overall effectiveness of the coaching industry.

This conference faced the theme of supporting coaches (and everyone new to coaching) getting beyond those doubts and fears which hold them back in their career, business and personal lives to be the person they always wanted to be. Specifically, the outcomes of this conference included:

  • Explore your passion and unique identity as a coach.

  • Understand — and leverage — what clients are now wanting from coaches and coaching.

  • Learn how to package what you already know — or could learn — into a coaching program.

  • Feel more confident using your skills in a business environment.

  • Build your professional community with both like-minded and market-specific colleagues.

  • Have a hands-on experience of some of the most powerful new models that coaches use with their personal and corporate clients.

  • Take with you several years’ worth of ideas, opportunities, tools and knowledge to accelerate your success as a personal or business coach.
